Lifetime Warranty & Repairs

At Preecioso, we take pride in the craftsmanship and quality of every piece we create. Our Lifetime Warranty reflects this commitment, ensuring your treasured jewelry receives the care it deserves throughout its life. Whether it’s repairs, cleanings, or inspections, we’re here for you.

What Our Warranty Covers

Lifetime Repairs:

  • Jewelry often experiences wear and tear over time. Our warranty covers repairs, including but not limited to:

  • Stone resetting.

  • Prong adjustments or replacements.

  • Fixing damage caused by daily wear.

  • Resizing.

  • We will lovingly repair your jewelry as needed for as long as you own it.

  • A nominal shipping fee will be charged to return your jewelry safely.

Complime-ntary Cleaning & Inspections

  • You can send your jewelry to us at any time for a thorough cleaning and inspection.

  • This service ensures your piece sparkles beautifully and remains in top condition.

  • A nominal shipping fee will be charged to return your cleaned and inspected jewelry safely.

Stone Replacem-ent:

  • If a smaller stone becomes damaged or falls out, we’ll repair or replace it under warranty.

  • However, for center or focal stones valued over $500, replacement is not covered. We recommend insuring these pieces for protection against loss or damage.

One-of-a-Kind and Unique Stones:

  • If your jewelry features unique or one-of-a-kind stones, we will do our best to replace them with a comparable option in the event of damage or loss. However, slight variations in color, cut, or type may occur due to availability.

Excluded Stones – Opals and Turquoise:

  • Due to their delicate nature, opals and turquoise are excluded from warranty coverage. These stones are fragile and often irreplaceable.

  • Care Tips for Opals and Turquoise:

    • Remove these pieces before bathing, exercising, cooking, or cleaning.

    • Avoid exposure to household chemicals and beauty products.

    • Clean using a soft toothbrush, mild soap, and warm water. Never use ultrasonic cleaners.

Repairs by Other Jewelers:

  • Our warranty becomes void if another jeweler performs repairs, resizing, or alterations on your jewelry.

  • The only exception is plating white gold locally if you prefer the stark white finish of plated white gold over its natural warm tones.

Beyond Normal Wear and Tear:

  • Jewelry that requires extensive repairs beyond normal wear (e.g., intentional damage or misuse) may incur additional labor and material costs.

  • We will notify you in advance if repairs fall outside the warranty scope.

Shipping Costs:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from our studio for cleaning, inspection, and repair services.

  • International customers must cover additional import fees, customs charges, and taxes.

Submit a Repair Request:

Inspection and Intake Report

  • Once your piece arrives at our studio, our repair specialists will inspect it thoroughly.

  • We will create an intake report, documenting the current condition of the piece and any necessary repairs. You’ll receive a copy of this report for transparency.

Covered Repairs:

  • Repairs under warranty will be completed automatically. Covered services include:

    • Replacing or resetting stones.

    • Prong tightening, repairs, or replacements.

    • Resizing or reinforcing thin areas of the band.

Approval for Additional Work:

  • If the required work falls outside the warranty scope, we’ll provide a detailed cost breakdown.

  • Repairs will only proceed with your approval.

Completion and Return Shipping:

  • Once repairs are complete, we’ll package your jewelry securely and ship it back to you.

Center Stones Over $500:

  • While we’ll reset center stones as part of the warranty, replacing them is not included.

  • We recommend insuring your jewelry to protect against loss or damage to center stones.

Unique Stones:

  • In rare cases, we may be unable to replace limited-edition or one-of-a-kind stones. If an exact match is unavailable, we’ll provide alternatives for your approval.

Complimentary Appraisals:

  • We provide free appraisals for pieces valued over $3,000 at the time of purchase.

  • Additional appraisals can be requested within one year of purchase. After one year, appraisal fees may apply.

Reappraisals for Insurance:

  • We recommend insuring your fine jewelry.

  • Upon request, we will reappraise your piece every five years to reflect market value, ensuring your insurance remains up to date.
